It’s the day after Christmas and all through the house… it’s soooo quiet. We had festivities with our children & grandchildren on Christmas day. Every year we decorate a money tree for the adults. The tree is loaded with envelopes filled with cash or gift cards. I come up with a trivia game that they complete to win an envelope. There is trivia, silent & talking charades, drawing & hang man. It is just as much fun for me as it is for them. Each year I change the theme, this year it was all about restaurants. In the past we have done states, food, Bible, Christmas, animals, Christmas shows & nature. I have a few of these on my website to download. It is so much fun.

I don’t do New Year’s resolutions but my husband & I try to have a word of the year. 2021 was prepare, 2022 was rethink and 2023 is focus. Both of us have had valley’s & hills in our path. Rollercoaster is an understatement of the changes we have met in the last 2 years. We do forge ahead and things always work out.

With a clear focus for the new year I am offering more varieties to my freeze dried business. I have added watermelon & wild berry gelatin. Lemon bundt cake & raspberry zingers are also added to the menu.

Soon I will offer personalized labels on my freeze dried items. I will include small bags as favors for weddings, baby showers, reunions, holidays, birthday & any gathering.
