This heart-shaped pattern pillow measures approximately 7" - 8" and is handmade with flaxseed and 100% heavy-weight cotton fabric. It is double stitched for durability of use.
The fleece "hankie" in the pocket can be scented with essential oil. Essential oil NOT included.
Flaxseed provides a gentle, moist heat which promotes healing. The weight of flaxseed is gentle and comforting. Flaxseeds are flower seeds, rather than grain. Thus, they contain 30-40% oil which remains inside the seed to be warmed again and again. These should be spot cleaned only.
When heated, flaxseed pillows retain half their heat after an hour. Flaxseed pillows can also be chilled in the freezer for 2 hours or more to sooth fevers or slight inflammations.
This pillow is the perfect size to warm or cool a little ones boo boos. Scented with a calming essential oil can be the perfect remedy.
